Reducing Material and Processing Costs

Issues and Requests | We received a request to produce filters that they had been previously purchasing from a different supplier, at a reduced cost. |
Solution | The product in question was a coin / disk filter as shown in the provided image. This product consists of two types of wire mesh with different meshes, which are bonded together with a stainless steel plate. We also manufacture a product of the same shape, but we could not expect significant cost reduction through internal manufacturing alone. Therefore, we proposed a single wire mesh molded filter disk. This product was made by overlapping two types of wire mesh and compressing the edges, and was strong enough to meet all the requirements for its applications. Since only wire mesh was used, material and processing costs were reduced, and initial costs were also greatly reduced. This was because the product could be manufactured with fewer molds than the current product. For customers concerned about cost and quality, a compressed mesh disk filter could be a good fit for your project. |
